Fairhaven, MA (February 21, 2011) - From California to India, and Thailand to Florida, Titleist was the golf ball of choice for four winners across the worldwide professional tours this week. The foursome increases Titleist's year-to-date golf ball victory count to 14, more than twice the nearest competitor and more than all other golf balls combined.
On the PGA TOUR, Pro V1x loyalist Aaron Baddeley was the only player to shoot four consecutive rounds in the 60s at Riviera, en route to a two-shot victory at the Northern Trust Open. It marked Baddeley's third career PGA TOUR title after he closed with a 2-under 69 for a 12-under 272 victory total.
- Baddeley's victory marks the sixth win through the first seven events for PGA TOUR players trusting Titleist for their success. Baddeley joins Mark Wilson (Pro V1x/Sony Open, Waste Management Phoenix Open), Jonathan Byrd (Pro V1/Hyundai Tournament of Champions), Bubba Watson (New Pro V1x/Farmers Insurance Open) and D.A. Points (Pro V1x/AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am) in the 2011 winners' circle.
- The champion also relied upon a Vokey Design Spin Milled lob wedge and became the third player on the PGA TOUR to win with a Scotty Cameron (Studio Select Newport) putter this year.
- Titleist Brand Ambassador Kevin Na (Pro V1x, 910D3/8.5 driver, 909H/19.0 hybrid, AP2/4-P irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled sand/54 and lob/60 wedges, Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport putter) finished solo 3rd, three shots behind Baddeley.
- Na was followed on the leaderboard by fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Jimmy Walker (New Pro V1, 910D3/9.5 driver, 909F2/13.5 3-wood, 910H/18.0 hybrid, MB/3-P irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled sand/54 and lob/60 wedges, Scotty Cameron Del Mar putter), who finished in a three-way tie for 4th.
- Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the Northern Trust Open with 97 players, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 14.
- Titleist also was first in hybrids (36); iron sets (45); sand, lob and approach wedges (125); and putters (56). Titleist was second in drivers (42), including 36 new 910D2 or 910D3 models; and fairway metals (39).
EUROPEAN TOUR: S S P Chowrasia relied upon the Pro V1x golf ball to secure victory in his native homeland, edging third-round leader Robert Coles (New Pro V1x) by one shot at the Avantha Masters in New Delhi. The 32-year-old Indian shot a closing round of 5-under 67 for a 15-under 273 total.
- Grégory Havret (Pro V1x) closed with a 4-under 68 to finish solo 3rd, as Pro V1x players swept the top three positions on the leaderboard. Titleist Brand Ambassador Pablo Larrazabal (New Pro V1x, 910D3 driver, 910F fairway metals, 910H hybrid, MB irons, Vokey Design wedges) tied for 5th with another local favorite, Sujjan Singh (Pro V1x).
- The win is the second European Tour victory for Chowrasia, and his second on home soil. He created European Tour history in 2008 when he became the first player to win in his maiden appearance as an Affiliate Member.
- Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the event with 87 players, more than five times the nearest competitor with 17. Eight of the top 10 finishers at the event trusted a Titleist golf ball for their success.
LPGA TOUR: Pro V1x loyalist Yani Tseng continued her torrid stretch, firing the low round of the day, a 6-under-par 66, to win the LPGA season-opening Honda LPGA Classic in Thailand by five shots. Although this is the first event on the LPGA schedule, it is Tseng's fourth victory of 2011. She also won the Taifong Ladies Open (Taiwan) in mid-January and swept the Australian Women's Open and the ANZ Ladies Masters earlier this month to advance to No. 1 in the Rolex world rankings.
- Tseng cemented her position with the win, finishing the tournament with a 15-under 273 total.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Pro V1 player Bernhard Langer won the ACE Group Classic in Naples, Florida by four shots, setting a tournament record with a 20-under 196 total, after closing with a 6-under 66. The win marks the 14th Champions Tour title for Langer, including the 10th time in 11 tournaments that Langer has won when he either held or shared the lead after two rounds.
- Russ Cochran (Pro V1) closed with a 5-under 67 to tie for 3rd at 15-under 201, while Mark Calcavecchia (Pro V1x) finished a further shot back in solo 5th.
- Of the 11 players who finished tied for 10th place or better at the ACE Group Classic, 8 trusted a Titleist golf ball for their success.
- Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the event with 50 players, nearly four times the nearest competitor with 13.
